HyperOS 4: Xiaomi and iPhone will exchange files and synchronize notifications
HyperOS 4 adds cross-device features between Xiaomi phones and iPhones, including file and contact sharing, two-way notification sync and the ability to reply to messages from either device. The connection requires Xiaomi’s connectivity app and a shared Xiaomi account. Wider rollout is expected from October 15, 2026; European availability on that date is unclear. Notifications will be synchronized two-way in real time. It will also be possible to reply to messages from either mobile. To activate the features, the Xiaomi connectivity app and a shared Xiaomi account are required. Control from Mac and iPad Mi Connect Desktop will allow Mac and iPad owners to control their Xiaomi phone from their computer or tablet. HyperOS 4 premiered on the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.
